Going to keep the Beyern wheels on for now. If anyone is seriously interested and wants to buy the car on the stock wheels, then I will go put them on, since I will have to get new, lower profile tires for the front.

Nope, but maybe $400 at best.
Because that guy hasn't been trolling the various BMW forums asking for advice and not taking it. Seems to me that his car has new paint and a rebuilt engine, not to mention a much nicer driver seat. Apples and Oranges buddy, and I DID comment in his thread. I WISH these cars could bring that kind of money. They DONT, as you are finding out.Why aren't you guys giving the guy selling the 525i crap? He's asking more than me for a car with more miles.
What is the point Gravik? The fact that you can not accept you paid way to much for the car? Or that you have no grasp of "Market Value"?
Fortunately, I think you are getting close... ~$3000 with both sets of wheels is pretty much it. Watching you keep trying to squeeze more out of it is becoming an endless source of entertainment throughout the BMW community. Thanks for the laughs!
Edit; Not sure which 525 you are talking about, I ASSumed it was the $6000 redone one, probably on BFc. The one here for $4200, well, that too is a dreamer. Looks like a $2500 car to me. Again though, he never asked for input.Last edited by MountainM30; 07-07-2012, 04:41 AM.Comment

Really, those wheels are not worth much more than that. Just because they cost one price brand new, that doesn't mean they are worth anywhere near that used. You might find someone that knows nothing about BMW's to give you more than that. But unlikely.Comment

Owned more wheels than you likely will ever dream of.....
Of course, you are clearly the expert on pricing all things automotive... You started by asking what, $5500 for that car of yours. How is that working out for you?:up:Comment
