    WTB: M20B25 head

    Need a head for my E34 525i.
The timing belt snapped and well that leads to all sorts of enjoyment.

    FML.

Let me know what you got.
    Thanks.

Also, what are the chances of the head being ok?

Chances of head being O-K on your car? Probably slim to none. I can get you a head off a running car if you really need it...

I appreciate the offer Speicher, but I couldnt even imagine the cost of shipping a head from Germany.

and ya i figure that the head is done. It was just amazing how little noise or violence there was when the belt went.

It'd cost the same as shipping from New York since I'm in the military. Just an option..

Well, cost of head and shipping?

          I would really appreciate it.

thank you iX, but i dont think i would be able to afford anything like that. As much as i would enjoy putting a fully built head on this car, it would really deserve it also.

This is an early e34 88-89 they used the M20B25 engine, in 90' they switched to the m52.

                    No, the E34 didn't come with the M52 since it was an OBD2 engine. The E34 came in the US with a M20, M50, M30, M60, S38. :D

My bad, still really new to the e34, considering I have only had the car for a week.
