    FS/Feeler: E28 M5

    Hey all-
I bought this car back in March as a project/dd that I could try and bring back to its former glory. As it turns out, I think I bit off more than I can chew with this one, and feel bad driving a rare car as a commuter.
    Current state:
Right now the car is parked in a hangar at my place of employment in Ewing NJ. One day while driving in our decrepit parking lot, the 5er bottomed out and I proceeded to park it. After my shift ended, I came outside to find a pool of oil underneath. I put a small hole in the oil pan, probably 1/16" wide and a half inch long, definitely something that can be fixed.

Before said incident, the car ran great and I loved driving it every minute. The sound that S38 makes is pure joy. Here's a little profile on it.

Right now, 158k miles. Just recently tuned up, featuring
    New distributor cap/rotor
    New ignition wires
    New fuel pump
    new fuel filter

Also, 500 miles ago, entire front end suspension replaced. All parts from blunttech
    New thrust arms
    new LCAs
New inner and outer tie rods
    new swaybar endlinks
brakes still have plenty of meat left on the pads

The car, when purchased, had Bilstein Sports and H&R race springs. This gives it a proper stance, doesnt look super low but there is very little gap. Unfortunately, there is not much in the way of maintenance records, just a few receipts from here and there.

The interior needs help. Right now, a black leather sport interior from an e28 535is is fitted. It works for the time being, but not all the motors are functional, and passenger side seat pan bolster rod support is broken.
It will come with the stock interior, whose foam is still in good condition but the leather is pretty sad looking.

    but I'll post more tonight.

I'm asking 7.5k, but open to offers as this is a feeler. Price may become more firm if the oil pan gets fixed before sale.

Also, if you're looking to get some resto work done, I am sure a local reputable board member metalsoul and poor_adam can help with whatever direction you would like to take this legend.
