Getrag 5 speed dogleg gearbox

Hello,

Up for sale is a Getrag dogleg 5 speed (262 case stamp) out of a 79' Euro 635csi with 140,000 km on it. It's is in excellent shape, shifts perfectly and was even opened and inspected for wear. Everything is perfect aside from a slightly leaky rear seal (where the drive shaft bolts up). I have lots of pictures available as well as a video of the open trans and gears (video I can provide via text or e-mail).

So it is a 4 speed? The 262 was a 4 speed. The 260 I believed also used the same case.

No this is a 5 speed. I've moved it through the gears and the shift pattern on the ashtray also indicates a 5 speed. :)

Def a 5 speed. Look at the rear section. 262 case was used for the early 265/5 transmissions.

Glws! I'm sure it'll get swooped up quick enough. I'm lookin for a local one!
