I didn't think that I would ever sell this but I am purchasing another car so I have to sell something. I really LOVE this car but I can't keep them all. I built this car to keep for a long time but I really enjoy building them as much as driving them. With that said I replaced just about everything and built it to be VERY reliable.
For anyone that has not seen the build thread feel free to check the entire thing out here, http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=230214 . This for sale ad could be just for the car as it stands or built into another shell that I have.
Here are the details:
85 528e Polaris Paint (the paint is VERY faded/worn) - The shell is not rust free but it is overall solid.
Cardnial Sport Interior (the Bolster on the drivers side is slightly worn, there are a couple splits in the seat bottoms)
LS1 from a 99 Camaro (the engine currently has around 70k miles on it...340hp)
T56 6 speed transmission (completly rebuilt)
Diamond full face clutch
Single in tank 255lph Fuel Pump
Single Piece 3" Aluminum Drive Shaft
dual 2.25" exhaust into dual cats, spintech muffler (single 3" out), then into a single magnaflow muffler. (The exhaust is quiet)
Working AC (upgraded to crossflow condenser)
M6 Quick Ratio Steering Box
Euro Bumpers (the back one does have some rust)
E34 540 Big Brake Upgrade
E28 M5 Sway Bars
All suspension/steering parts have been replaced
Wheel bearings front and rear have been replaced
All suspension parts have been powder coated
New Radiator
Bilstein Sports
Front springs are cut 535 and rear are Eibach
This car is amazing to drive. I have put over 15k miles on it and have had no issues at all. It has been to Canada for tedfest twice, down to Vintage in NC, and all over Michigan. It has been my DD ever sense I completed the Swap.
I am asking $11k without the style 5s as shown in the pictures. These can be worked into the price if interested.
Some pictures...Most of these are from when I did the swap so the couple engine pictures below are not 100% as it is now.
Now I also have a VERY VERY clean black e28 that I was planning to put everything from the polaris car into. So if someone is interested I would swap everything over and really build it however you wanted. I was planning on power coating the euro bumpers, shadow lining the trim, etc etc. The price for something like this would really depend on just how you wanted it in the end. I can do whatever you would like.
