For what spark type? Dizz/Motronic 1.2/3 or Motronic 1.0?

Okay so it's for my dads car, we are doing a 5 speed swap on my dads 91 535i. And the guy we bought he transmission from said to get an e28 flywheel assembly because it's lighter

Ok so just to help you on your quest to find something lighter, here is the deal:
'90+ 535 dual is heaviest flywheel (dual mass) 'tis true at a lot of #
'85-88 535 is the heaviest flywheel (single mass) but still lighter than the Dual.
        '89 535, '70s e3/9, all e12 is lighter (single mass)
        82-83 533/633/733, '88 M5/6 is the lightest (single mass)

So if you're mechanically inclined, visit a few wreckers and look for a 533. Those tend to be the most common place to find the lightest flywheel that you(and everyone else) wants. They come up for sale on the boards sometimes, but aren't cheap though. An e28 535 flywheel is probably the easiest to find for sale and most cost effective on the boards, but the heaviest of the single masses.
If you just want to get it over with and get your car on the road, Just take what becomes available since you're B35 and can use any from the above list. Hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
