      E36 diffs fit. There's a recent write up on bimmernut.com in the 5 series forums with a guide to what models had what diff. E34 535 5 speed cars have 3.46.

        No. The internals may, but mounts are way different. If I am swapping internals I might as well replace my bearings for half the price.
