Hey guys! Up for sale we have an "original owner" 535i, still keeping its glory with the Blue/Yellow CA plates. The car has had tons of maintenance done over the years, always has had fluids changed periodically, including the transmission and differential. We actually have every single repair receipt done to the car, dating back to 1986. When this car would go in, it seems the original owner would fix every item there mechanic suggested fixing. We our the second owners, the original owner being down the street from us. We hope to find this car a good, loving home.
Some maintenance done in the past couple years,
Recent Compression Check Results: 150 in every cylinder!

The dash is cracked, however it has a dash cap covering the cracks. The Tach's needle is a bit bouncy, along with the temp gauge.. I'm assuming the SI board battery's? Idle is steady. The car has new shocks and springs (control arms and other components where replaced 60,000 miles ago). The car has over 80% original paint, the passenger side quarter panel was repaired at one point (the only accident according to the original owner). The paint isn't wavy, however behind the trunk liner you can see the repair work.
All in all, I'd consider the car a survivor. After looking at tons of e30's many of them have been in major wrecks, or just poorly maintained, and I'd assume its the same while shopping for a e28. Currently has 280k, engine is very solid wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere. Maybe hard to believe, but no leaks! My driveway has yet to see a drop left by this car. This has been maintained to the fullest by our neighbor, and by my dad who's an Aircraft Mechanic working at SFO.
Asking price is $5,300 located in San Mateo, CA
Feel free to give my Dad a call (posting this for him) at . His name is John.
