    e32 bushings

How many of you done the e32 750il bushings in the front arms? How long do they last?

I've already tried the FCP brand arms "WITH THE 750IL" bushings installed, but I don't think they are real OEM 750il bushings in there. Less than 6 months has gone by and the shake is back...

Wheels/tires have been checked twice, by a good tire shop. Rotors are brand new as well.

    Front uppers?

    Go with the Moosehead ones.

I don't want to go with those on DD...I want LESS maintenance as well. Poly wears out as well, so rubber should last longer in theory.

the moosehead are the least maintenance. They are good for a very long time. and they don't really increase ride harshness at all.

Why does poly wear out faster than rubber?? Rubber dry rots, poly doesn't do that, at least not nearly as quickly.

Also, the polys have two structural advantages that make them inherently last longer than stock rubbers:

          1. They are solid, not webbed, so there are no stress concentrators
          2. The poly is not bonded to the inner metal sleeve like the rubbers are, which causes load/preload problems

The spherical bearings are what you want Jean

            spherical + m5 bushing

Poly wears out as well, but not like rubber. It changes it's shape, and as the result has more play as well. Just different wear.

I never said it wears out faster.

Anyways, I am giving BMW OEM bushings a shot and will see how they compare to the non OEM bushings.

The FCP house branded rubber parts are trash. You could replace only the bushings with good ones,TRW/Lemforder or BMW, until the rubber boots on the ball joints fail.:nice:

I know they are trash lol. They failed after barely 6 months of use, I've replaced them with Lemf and Meyle HD parts.. Including tie rods, center link, drag link, sway bar links, upper mounts...upper/lower arms. The whole 9 yards.

Hey use e31 lower control arms. Better than e34 m5, e32 750 and all other options for what I can gather. I will be ordering complete alloy arms for the e31 because they have sealed spherical bushings.

I've put Lemf arms for now, when / if I ever replace this crap again I am going with AKG stuff. E34/E32 has got to have the worst front end .....
