    E34 525i LTW flywheel

Checking around the 24v forums and comparing prices online it seems like there may be another option for a lightweight flywheel for M50 powered 5 speed cars. Wanted to get some other forum members opinions before committing to parts.

    M20 325i flywheel
    M20 325i clutch kit
    M20 325i starter
    ZF pilot bearing

All in a stock 1991 525i. Granted the back of the flywheel would need to be machined to clear the rear seal cover bolts, but it seems like it would be a cheaper alternative to buying an aluminum flywheel.

    Opinions?

I am curious too, for when I swap.

I figured the same idea. All the 24V guys do it.

I'll start to gather parts. At the worst I can sell the unused stuff to the 24v swap guys.
