    E28 Coilovers

Hey, so I recently bought a 1988 535i e28. So far I have just been doing basic maintenance (oil change, replacing gaskets etc.) I have been having some trouble finding coilovers for the e28 (or atleast decently priced ones ) Does anyone know of where I can find some or know of any non-over priced brands? Or I may just go with sport suspension, which seems like the best option at this point...

The cheapest route is to build your own, but that requires some fabrication which it sounds like isn't your forté. My opinion would be to go with some lowering springs and cut a few coils out to get it where you'd like. It doesn't kill the ride on these cars so long as you don't have blown struts.

All kits for the e28 will require cutting and welding.
