Keeps blowing right rear tail-light fuse

This is awesome, there is short somewhere as my 93 525i keeps blowing the fuse for the right rear tail light.

And also my interior dash/cluster backlight (not the lightbar) is out now too.

Jean, I had the same short.

Mine was in the sunroof switch harness in the headliner (!)

One fuse runs most interior lights, the right tail and a couple other things.

There is a plug under the back seat that will help isolate it.

Luke, care to elaborate more on the sunroof switch harness? How do you test it for a short with the plug under the sear? My drivers window is working in conjunction with that switch as well. Not trying to hijack, just looking for additional electrical insight....thanks!

Fixed, it was the harness issue on the driver rear side of the trunk lid. 2 wires were cut, 2 on the way out and 2 behind.
