    89 e34 m30b30 (KO)-> m50b25 swap, temp gauge problem

    Hi there,
    i need an advice...I swaped engine from 92 e34 m50b25 into e34 89 m30b30 body, change connectors 20pin c101 to 25pin x20. After swap, engine started nicely, but abs, temp gauge and actual fuel consumtion gauge didnt work. Is there anyone who have the wiring, or pinout to these conectors to check it? I looked into the ETM, but i cant handle to solve it - to read in it....
    Is it needed to run any new wires ? I tried to change dashbord from the other car, checked the temp gauge earting the singal wire, and it went to redfield, the temp senzor was working in previous car.. I also tried to earth one pin from connector, but gauges move only to blue field, even when the termostat was already open. Do you know, where could be the problem?
    Have anybody experience with these?

    fuel consumption gauge points 0 when car is moving, and when stays or stops, it points infinity. Nothing between these extremes..

    Thanks for help...

    I read about coding plug in instrument cluster. Someone said that the coding plug contains informations about car and engine and could cause the problem which i have, if there is some difference...

      why would you ever replace a m30 with a m50. The m50 has posters on the wall dreaming it could be a m30.

        Probably because it was an m30b30 and they're ancient and awful.

          hey, the the car, e34 89 with the m30b30 engine (KO), but skelleton was good costs me about 150 euros, and mine e34 92 with m50b25 was so rusty, so i decided to switch the engines...

          any suggestions with the temp gauge and fuel level senzor?
          economy gauge now working good.
