E34t Roof rack key/lock help.

So, got this Thule BMW rack. No keys. Tried calling Thule (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...ck-keys-anyone) and they were less than helpful.

Dealer was very helpful, but can't really get anything.

So, anyone know any tips or tricks to getting at least a couple keys for this thing?

Also, dealer was wondering if the e39 (http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...=82&fg=51&hl=7) key may work? Said he could order it and I can try (we're tight like that), but I really hate sending stuff back.

Go to a bicycle shop in your town they normally have spare keys, (at least the one I work at does. Then bring it to a locksmith and have him cut it. DO NOT have homedepot cut it they are terrible at it.

Did not think of a bike shop. I'll give that a try.

Think they can get a lock cylinder too?

Thule has spare parts, too. Including cylinders... I just got some in the mail a couple of weeks ago.

My code doesn't work. R061

I called them and they gave me all this crap about how it wasn't their code, Germany this, our codes start with "N" that, etc.....unhelpful and didn't seem like they wanted to try to help ether.
