Is this a bad power steering pump m30 video inside

Here is a video of the power steering pump on my dads 91 535i. When you turn the wheel it makes a bunch of noise and vibrations coming through the wheel. Is this a bad pump or something else? It seemed to be fine before we swapped the engine.

Bump anybody have any ideas?

Check the level of fluid, top off if needed. Leave the cap open and take the front wheels off the ground, cycle left and right and see if the noise goes away after a bit. Most likely air in the system

That was the trick! thank you so much, i had tried "bleeding" it but i guess just not enough.
