so my moms E28 is having problems with the clutch, she gets no pressure pushing it down until about 3 inches from being able to shift. do I just need to bleed the system? or am I looking at new cylinders?

the car drives fine and has no problem shifting other than that theres no pressure pushing down the clutch. -
couldn't hurt to bleed it and find out.
however, if the car was fine before, then suddenly there is no pressure, something failed. Inspect as much as you can to see if you can find a leak. The three fail spots are the slave cylinder, the master cylinder, and the soft line between the two.Comment
