OK I have been doing a little research and it seems that the early euro 525e came with a high compression piston 11.1 I believe but I cant seem to find the production year cut off between that and the standard compression. Anyone have any info on this?

My understanding is that the cutoff is September '85, blocks being stamped 27 6KA vs the later engines with 27 6EB. Seems like there are better ways of building a performance engine these days, if that's what you're after... -
