e24 m50 swap, e36 325i getrag

Hi guys, i am nearing the completion of my swap with the driveshaft that is only left for my car to drive on its own. Here is what i've already tried to miss match to see if it will bolt up.

e36 325i driveshaft is 4 inches too short in the rear.
e28 m20 manual drive shaft fits but its really spread out and only goes into the splines about an inch and i am afraid to break it.

The distance from output flange to input flange of diff is 64-65 inches. I've seen that e30 318i either m10 or m42 front portion is the right size that would bolt up with my e24 rear half.

Need opinions or suggestions on what to do. Thanks!
