Great post... Rent-Racecar.de is definitely the way to go if you're visiting and want to drive the Ring. We rented a tracked prepped E46 325Ci from these guys last year and had a blast. Theo, the owner, was a genuinely jovial fellow and was more than happy to show us around the track in his own GTI. Video footage here:
