    1989 bmw 325i convertible ( new owner questions )

Hello BMW experts I hope you guys are doing well.
I just got a 1989 bmw 325i convertible. I got it for free as a trade for my 1989 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.6L. My Mercedes was in a great condition. And it was a manual rear wheel drive. I will attach a video and some pics. And it was a fair deal. I need some

I need some help with my new bmw e30.

BMW E30 Parts ordered and ready.
    Short Shifter 100$ ( not installed )
Idle Air Control Valve 50$ ( not installed )
    BBS Style 5 hub caps 60$ ( installed )
    Spec Stage 2+ clutch 600$ ( installed )
    Convertible top replacement 700$ ( installed )
Cylinder head gasket kit 50$ ( not installed )
    Turner Chip 215$ ( installed )
Ignition Duralast wire set 100$ ( not installed )
ECS stainless Steel Brake lines 150$ ( not installed )
    Style 5 wheels&rims 600$ ( installed )
H&R lowering performance springs 300$ ( not installed)
Garagistic Solid Transmission mounts 70$ ( Not installed )
    Fuses 80$ ( Installed )
DSSR Selector rod Garagehistic 150$ ( not installed ).

for some reason the idle on the car is kind of rough! And shuts off sometimes after 3-5 minutes of running. I will include a video. And the temperature gauge is on high for some reason I don’t know if the gauge is broken. Because the car is not overheating. I have only installed few things on the car and haven’t serviced the car yet. What are the recommendations? What should I replace and repair? Maybe clean off? Will get a oil change and all coolant fluids checked and replaced. Please let me know what I should look after? Because I’m new with e30s and older cars in general.

    Need to order.

    Needs!
    Spark plugs
    Oil filter
    Cabin filter
    Oil change
    Coolant flush&change
    Brake fluids change

    I live in Northeast Philadelphia.
    zip: 19116

if anyone is local and good at working on this car please reach out to me. Thank you so much for taking your time and reading this post.

Yes the car has been sitting for a while. I had to put a new clutch in to get back running again. I will attach a picture of the old clutch that came off.
