    1984 BMW 325e no start

Hello. I have a 1984 BMW 325e. I’m very new to e30s so I didn’t know what to do in my situation so i came here for a solution maybe. Originally my problem was that the thermostat was not functioning properly and I was suppose to replace that and flush and refill all the coolant in the system. Well, when the job was done, I drove the car around a bit and my lights were super dim and so were my headlights. I came home and turned the car off and tried turning it on with no success. Now it won’t start. I don’t hear any crank but after a couple of minutes left alone it cranks about once or twice before it goes silent. I’ve had work done at a shop already and repaired the fuel level sender. i’m not sure what to do in this situation. Could anyone point me in the right direction. Really don’t want to go back to the shop, i rather figure this out in my driveway. Thank you!

Yes the lights come on so I wasn’t sure it was that. I forgot to mention that the turning signals sometimes work and sometimes don’t. when i turn the signals i don’t even hear the clicking. Thanks i’ll be sure to check that even tho that was probably the first thing i should’ve checked. i’ll keep you updated !
