    Who builds M30's?

I have a friend with a E24. He is looking into building his m30 for boost. I've told him to get on here and join, but I digress.
Anyway I'm not sure what his power goal is exactly. I would image he is looking for something that would reliable for daily street use. Probably in the 400ish range maybe kiss 500. (again I'm speculating. I've talk with him about it but I just don't know specifics) I know BimmerHeads builds heads for the M30.
If you guys know of a shop or good place to order parts or a engine builder let me know. Also not trying to break the bank. I'm just trying to give him so advice to point him the right direction.
He is a fellow E30 owner as well.

Metric Mechanic does. It will not be cheap though.

No need to build it, just slap a correctly sized turbo on and go to town. I'm sure 15 psi will be more than enough for the chassis.

yeah I was thinking that too. Maybe a good refresh with new rings and bearings. A better cam maybe. head studs

If the motor comes apart just add ring gap and head studs. Coated bearings won't hurt if you are already there. I imagine the pistons will be the weak spot, and valvetrain if you add a cam and rev it higher. I would stick with the stock cam, personally.

The management and turbo manifold will be the key imo. Conservative tune on ethanol will make it last a while.
