    Relocating hazard and defrost switch

    Greetings.
Was wondering if anyone has relocated their hazard and defrost switches.
I am considering it in order to mount my touchscreen head unit higher and more flush against the center console.
Is it even possible to move the switches? Thanks in advance.

There won't be enough wiring slack to move them, but you can extend the wiring to install them anywhere you please. Decent options might be the center console, which you could swap to another with more holes or just cut new ones, or the panel below the insturment cluster.

The wiring will reach the left plastic cover inside the glovebox. That's where mine are after installing my EQ.

Guess there's only one way to find out, although on a 318is I tried that on the wires were very short and unwrapping it from the loom seemed impractical with the dash in place.
