325ix Center Exhaust Section on a 325i/is?

Anyone ever fit the center section with the cat from a 325ix onto an i or is car? Looking for an OEM center section for a '91 325i and having a hard time locating one. Did turn up a 325ix version however but I can tell from pictures that it is shaped differently.

Would be a few hours of driving to get it and it costs a couple bucks, so wondering if the fit is acceptable.

Of course, I'd prefer to find a 325i/is version.

I have. It is not a perfect fit, but there were no hammers involved - haha!
