SO I bought a set of Zender wheels off the bay
and one came with a nasty road rash (gouge) and some heavy curbage, along with other scratches...
so I took my dremel and smoothed the gouges and heavy rash out,
then recontoured the lip,
I then sanded the entire wheel with 320 grit,
then hit it with self etching primer x2, sanded it againx2,
then the filler primer, sanded it again,
filler primer again and 320, filler again and 600 grit,
then shot it with the Silver Color, wet sanded with 1500 grit and then shot the Clear...
Damn, it matches the other wheels perfect...
Now I need to do the other wheels to make them look as good...
good stuff guys, try it...
it does work,
but remember, it is all in the prep,
if it isn't smooth before the color, it won't be smooth after it either...
I wish I had taken more pics now, I really didn't think it would work but it did...
I give it an A+ and the color match couldn't be better....
