IMO that tensioner is great, but probably overkill. I've used the Conti since working on e30's and only had those two failures. Finally threw away the stack of used timing belts we had done at work, there was 100's of them. Had a client ask if we have ever done one before and started hanging the used belts up as show. Eventually got to the point of "Why are we still saving these?"
