Steering rack swap

I'm still a little twitchy/nervous going ass-out with the stock E30 rack, 4 turns lock to lock is no joke. Should have seen me fishtailing down an onramp in the rain after my LSD install, I couldn't stop laughing thinking of what it must have looked like. :D

(I asked in another thread but nothing yet) Are all Z3 racks the same? E36 racks are 3.2 turns, E36M racks 3.0 turns (I think?) and Z3 racks are 2.7 turns amirite? Is the lock distance/rack travel the same between all of them?

Meh, my car doesnt leak and the rack can be changed in 30 minutes.

I need to get another one in my current project. Took me like 3 tries to angle the car out of the driveway because I wasn't turning the wheel enough.
