Well, there are 5 variants of the E30 keys.
I would like to see what you get for $86 and $168.

Ahh, ok I get it. After the $168 quote, I found another dealer and got one for $76. It was this key cut and ready to go: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...AaAhlHEALw_wcB

              Nothin' like a fresh key!

FWIW 2 years ago I got a light up key through the dealer for $136 all in. Gave them my VIN and it showed up 2 days later. One day I'm going to convert the bulb to an LED like I did back in the day lol.

Just dont go to BMW of san francisco.... I told them i wanted a set of keys and they.... after 2 weeks.... got me a set of valet keys which dont work on glovebox and trunk... they were actually more expensive than the non electronic keys (i didnt know e30s had electronic keys my e34 only had a little light) and they didnt want to compensate me for their mess up. i dont usually get in shouting fights with employees but that had me angry.
