Twisty Roads! - Road Curvature Mapping

I've been saying for years that this would be a great website/app.
It's finally here, road warriors rejoice!

Detects the curvature of the road and automatically highlights twisty roads.

I've already planned one road trip into northern Ontario for this summer, and now looking at going to Pennsylvania!

That website is pretty cool! The one road it highlights near me is the one I drive often - because it's curvy! Nice find. Has anyone tried Porsche's 'Roads' app? Similar concept, but more user community-driven.

I did something similar using OpenStreetMaps data as well. Curvature looks like a much better analysis than what I did years ago. Here's my app, which indexes the US and Portugal:

PositiveYaw helps you find the best roads. Using elevation and GPS data, +yaw finds the best roads so you don't have to waste gas or time.

I did just try it, unfortunately my iPhone appears to be too old. The app crashes before I can even get to the maps.

I'd rather have car parts then a new phone though so 🤷‍♂️
