You just need to focus and git er done. Do not wax emo in the middle of a project and let your mind wander. What is going on with the brake booster? Did you buy it yet?

I find a good way to get things done is to write a list of what you need to do, then cross things out as you get them done.

I know, I am slowly making progress. Dropped off the subframe to be reinforced, sent my camber plates back to GC to be rebuilt, shipped my trans parts off to be modified, and will pick up my lightened M20 flywheel and custom built clutch/PP from a local shop this week.

I totally forgot to call the crumudegeon and take care of that. I got so busy the weekend before last messing with some stuff on the S52 and stripping out the front suspension and subframe it just completely slipped my mind until now. Thanks for the reminder!

I just shipped out my trans parts to matt to have modified.

It's just the weather is finally starting to turn nice, a good buddy of mine just bought an M-Coupe, another buddy just got his 325i he's spent the last 1 1/2 years rebuilding on the road, etc.

Stick with it. If you want, you can blame this restlessness on me, even though there is no way I'm at fault anymore.

Don't sissy out on it this far in, just cope with the fact that you should have started the projekt in October instead of February. Now, when you decide to build a turbo MS Miata for your woman, you can do it in the depths of winter as opposed to the beginning of Driving season.

Also, keep in mind that your friend went thru what you are going thru for 18 months, go talk it out with someone who knows.

atomic, I'd need something stronger than that!

It's really trying to do too many things at once when it comes to money I could just charge the rest of the parts up and get it done, but that's a bad idea.

We're also thinkng about buying a house, might get a miata to fix up for the girlfriend if I can get it cheeeeeeeap.

Haha, I am doing it right! Hence the suspension rebuild, subframe reinforcement, etc.

So keep up the good work and maybe one day you'll be PLO.

Are you doing an e36 rack as well? I would highly suggest that if everything is off/apart that you hit that as well. No need to pull it all apart later.

Yup, its sitting in the living room right now.

I'm waiting for my new control arms, M3 CABs, new subframe and lollipop bolts, and new mounting hardware for the steering rack to show up. The guy that gave me the deal on the THR adapter and the E28 M5 mounts, is giving me a deal on already modded knuckle.

I'm hoping to pickup the subframe on Friday, then take it to the powdercoaters to have stripped and refinished. By the following weekend, hopefully the GC camber plates and new stiffer springs will be here so I can put the front suspension back together.

The driveway looks nice with the front of the car up in the air on jackstands and everything missing!

You are really only a few days from driving your car. The trick to getting these swaps done is amassing ALL the parts you'll need ahead of time. It really is a simple swap.

Why waste time on PC the subframe?

One afternoon with brake caliper/engine enamel, and you can acheve the same effect. Time, you can save on, quality parts, don't skimp. That's a week of Down Time waiting for the PC guys.
