Your car was amazing, it's really sad to see it go. At least you're dealing with it well, and know that much of that car is partable. It'll work out in the end.

First off, and i should have said this before, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.
Your car was beautiful. I hope with the money you get out of it, you are able to get another that you are even more thrilled with. But as nice as that would be, I am sure it doesn't make this any less painful right now. Good luck to you.
Secondly, regardless of the women driver bashing on here, it is good to see a community of predominantly young male drivers taking driving so seriously. In MY experience, it has not been women drivers, it has been young drivers in general that seem to not have a respect for the massive machine they are driving around at the speed of light. Good driving comes two ways, with YEARS of experience, or with a learned respect. It is nice to see that many of you have this respect for yourselves, others on the road and your cars at such a young age. (I am still shocked that so many of you wear your seat belt)
Don't be so quick to get pissed at women drivers. My father was in a huge wreck with a semi, because he had the nose of the caddie out too far while making a left hand turn. My e30 was backed into by its previous owner who was coming out of his own driveway, the e30 was no where near where it would have been in danger of getting hit, he just wasn't paying attention. And then some ass driving a new Benz the other day at the preschool. He would pull in to a parking space, talk to someone then minutes later pull out and squeal his tires as he flew off down the parking lot to the other side of the building. Only to come back and repeat the process 3 times in order to talk to different people. There were tons of 2 to 5 years olds walking the parking lot with their moms and nannies heading to their cars. It was a huge show of testosterone. Or maybe he just didn't know how to drive a stick. WHO knows. These are just a handfull of the 'bad driver' expiriences that I have had. Some of the others, yes, have been women.
I realize there has been a lot of awful experiences with women drivers on this forum. And I am not really all that offended that you guys believe it to be a genetic defect we carry. That is your opinion. But men have issues too. I am just glad that most of you here seem to have a good head on your shoulders when it comes to driving safely.
my
there's no excuse to not wear a seatbelt. Its irresponsible, selfish, and stupid, not to.

list of bad driver stereotypes:
- Teenagers
- Old people
- Women
- Chinese people
I find it funny that you all seem so responsible and you always practice safe driving. But at least one of you who has posted on this thread, has sped over the speed limit, did not fully stop at a stop sign, started driving in the winter with foggy windows, took corners faster than the recommended speed.
Im sure some of the people here are excellent drivers who are capable of driving fast. The majority are not. Too bad even if you are an excellent drivers, there are 'stupid drivers', and suprises on the road that can lead to an accident.
I myself see more dangerous guy drivers than women. Guys show off, or drive beyond their capability more than women, and we all know that those mistakes cause worse accidents- than women not knowing how to parallel park.
I won't call myself an excellent driver, because really, do you all really think that everyone that posted here are so perfect that we will never be responsible for a careless accident?~ Go Canucks Go! ~

while i do speed, take corners fast, etc. I also am courteous to other drivers on the road. If i'm in the left lane and someon'es coming up fast behidn me, i move over, i dont cock block em. I'm much more aware then almost all of the friend i have who drive, they're ALWAYS getting in close calls when i'm in the car with them. i don't tailgate people (Fucking retarded and unsafe), and i don't drive recklessly around other cars. save it for the parking lots. (save for a couple of mistakes in the rain)

many things happen on the road.
You could tailgate someone for years and not get in a single accident.
You could speed 20 over the limit, go faster than you should around the corner and get into an accident. Accidents are circumstancial.
I just find it really funny that so many people here are blaming women for accidents.
Maybe because most people have been lucky enough, not to be responsible for an accident.~ Go Canucks Go! ~

You don't listen to some good music when you are driving with your buddies, cracking up jokes or two? I sure do.
Well if you don't do those things, Im going to assume that you are one of a kind on this board.
Oh and Im sure some of us have driven after drinking and saying that you are okay to drive, or driven when you are ripped.
Hey Im not saying that all women are GOOD drivers, Im just saying that the selected women who gives off the impression to us that 'all women are bad drivers' are not the ONLY bad drivers.~ Go Canucks Go! ~

Yeah i talk on the cell phone, but i usually keep it short cause i dont have many minutes. my longest calls are after 9pm, placed during long commutes at night with little to no traffic
no drinks are allowed in my car, and when i go out and party i usually stay the night there cause i only party with close friends.
my music is usually pretty blaring, i'll admit.
either way, i'm not perfect, i'm guilty of hell of a lot of reckless driving, but i still consider myself leagues ahead of most of the fuckheads my age.
