    You are lucky. It could have happened on the freeway going much faster. Or hit an on coming car instead of a curb. I am anxious to see how the arm failed. Many people have these arms installed and this thread could potentially save cars, even lives.

    thanks for all the ideas guys yea ill try to get pics up on it. im waiting for the new control arm to come in. yes it was a aftermarket one from FCP Groton. im guessing the car doesnt crank cuz a ground wire. plus i tried it for a quick second i dnt want to over heat it so im going to inspect my oil pump. ill keep u guys updated on the progress if any is made.

    dayuum. i believe the ball joint popping out and causing that... i saw it happen at an auto-x once, but broke in half from driving normally....idk. you need to inspect the pump when you take off the the damaged oil pan. i'd rather replace that $130 part now than later and have to drop the oil pan again.
