    Just went through this last month, too.

    I have about $35k into my 88 325ic right now. I didn’t want to go Grundy because their application process is cumbersome and they have a reputation for not covering claims involving normal driving (meaning they basically only want you driving to car shows).

    American Collectors basically based their valuation on other cars on classic.com. They basically only wanted to give me like $15k, which was laughable. So, sure, you can do agreed upon value with them but you very well might not agree to a value. I mean, no, my car doesn’t tha be 35k miles on it but my car is also in better shape than most all of those low mileage cars even.

    Hagerty finally agreed to cover my car for $37,500 and I can add more coverage on once the interior is done, etc.
