    Bolt and Nut Kit Suppliers

Currently in the process of getting my E30 back on the road. Looking for recommendations on yellow zinc metric bolt and nut kits for the garage that contain most of the common thread pitches and sizes for E30s.

There are a few vendors in the US reselling Tim's Classic Parts hardware kits. I ordered directly from the source before tariffs went crazy. Good quality stuff.

It’s better to use zinc flake fasteners especially for items directly exposed to road grime etc. a fair bit of the oe fasteners from bmw for e30 has gone this way it is zns-3 in realoem .

I also think it looks better but that is personal taste

I order a lot of fasteners from belmetric. They don't have everything, but they have a lot of things, often with the appropriate zinc coatings. Worth noting that M12 isn't always the same as other M12s (as an example), be mindful of thread pitch differences as that can bite you if you don't pay attention. MX1.0 isn't the same as MX1.25 or whatever, so on and so forth. Fastener grade also matters, but with some cross-referencing I usually figure it out.

I also bought a bunch of zinc plated bolts from Belmetric after going through RealOEM and seeing what I needed. Would be nice to scrape every page, pull out every bolt size and come up with a full list as I still missed a bunch.
