NOW is the time to buy stock in E30 driveshafts! With all this new interwebz hype about any time your CSB or flex disk wears out that you should replace your driveshaft, the apples are RIPE. Don't let them know that these items are WEAR items, and will wear out on a new shaft too. These are secrets that could cripple this new money train.




If you are eating through them at a high rate then yes it may be a good idea to check your driveshaft. But not everyone that replaces a flex disk needs a new driveshaft...

same applies to the CSB

I had a freind with a '97 cabby, despite me telling him it was just a flex disc and/or CSB he got a whole new driveshaft.. installed by a (jap) shop that didn't know how to put it in right, so it went bad again. he still wouldn't listen to me and had it replaced a second time by the same shop, and guess what? it went bad again. :roll:
