    New(ish) car time.

Well, the Failblazer's transmission is starting to slip, though it's really only noticeable from a standing start and a 2-1 kick down. Rather than dump a couple grand in it, I may just trade it in.

I'm looking at 2005-2006ish G35's, most likely an autotragic and a 4-door, not looking to spend more than 15-16k. I have to keep the girl friend happy. It doesn't bother me though, it'll be my DD, and the auto will be nice in traffic every day.

    Any thoughts, concerns, or recommendations?

g35 car is wild I hear, blips its own throttle when down shifting and will hold which ever gear you put it in till its demise, even thought Its one of them new "smart cars"

im sure you will be happy after you drive it, just dont become a G35 tool.

g35 sedan is a great blend of practicality and fun to drive sports sedan. can't go wrong with that.

lol, i'm even in college and understand why someone would want a g35 sedan instead of a coupe. it's called usability and convenience. yes the g coupe might look a bit better, but not everything is about which one looks better, and they both share the same motor.

I test drove both, and the sedan if definitely more comfortable. The seat goes back a good 2-3 inches more. The auto was also very refined, it didn't have hunt at all. This was my first time driving an auto with more than four gears, so that may be part of it.
