      if they are an R-comp, a 235 isn't neccesarily too wide for a 6.5" wheel. Especially if it's a Hoosier.

                I have 215/60/r14 mounted on one wheel right now.. I got a flat in the desert and this was the only 14" spare I could find before my trip.

                I'll put it this way, If I needed a place to hide a nickel, I *might* be able to jam it between the sidewall and the strut housing.

                It's really, really close and I doubt very much that anything bigger than 215 would be driveable on 14" bottlecaps and no spacers.
