z4 shifter???

i have an 89 325ix where can i get the z4 3.0i SSK? anyone know how much a shop should charge to install. Thanks

Z4 3.0 will not fit in an ix, sorry. It's about 1" too long.

Z3 1.9 is a perfect fit however.

dunno about the iX but i have a Z3M shifter on my 325i. im doing an auto to manual swap tho and the box is pre 87 and there is no balancer on the prop so i can get away with it. dunno if its a similar story with the iX's or not?

there is a transfer case in the way, that's why the Z4 3.0 doesn't fit. Trust me I tried. :)
