Ok guys, I just broke my surfboard and im pretty pissed about it. Looking on the upside, ive always wanted to make a bench out of a surfboard or a snowboard. I also have an old snowboard laying around. Anyone have any ideas on making a bench with a snowboard and a surfboard?

fuck that shit, i snapped my board in half, and i fixed it. It works fine in water and isn't too unbalanced.

What did you do to your board? I bet you can fix it with a dremel, a couple wooden dowels, and lots of resin....

Yes, it looks liek shit when done.. i cuold hve matched colors better and whatnot, but it DOES work. I wasn't about to throw a $400 board away.

All you need to make a ski/snowboard/surfboard bench is like an old park or yard bench. You can probably find one at a thrift store or Goodwill or something. Just remove the old bench seats and back, drill some holes in the desired board, and bolt them down. I've made several, it's not hard.

pretty good fix.
I broke my board by nosediving on a 4ft barrel on a sandbar. the nose cracked but the top layer was still intact. I brought the board to my local shop and they are fixing it for me, they said it will cost less than $100. Id like to try to fix it myself but im away at school and dont have the time or a place to do it. I decided that i dont have enough money to buy a new surf board as the new snowboarding season is coming and i need a new deck and boots.

Im riding my bodyboard now while waiting for my board to come back. Theres sick swell coming in now :twisted:

i hit that same swell fri and sat. offshore winds made amazing shoulder high barrels. i got a couple real good ones, this guy was taking pictures too with the scope and all on the beach

yeah, its been unreal the past 4 days or so. i busted my fin yesterday, the whole box and all came out. gonna be annoying to fix. i didnt even notice it was busted until i went to go drop in on a wave and started turning right away, weird feeling, especially since this break is all lefts. i think im going to try to get on it early tmrw with an 8 '0'' longboard tmrw before work. ive never surfed a long board on head head surf, we'll see how it goes..

They don't actually end up being 20ft... biggest I've surfed was about 15 feet a month ago.
