does anyone know of a wholesale vendor? I have a business license and I was thinking about startin up a website selling e30 related performance and OEM stuff.

So many sites already exist that sell parts for less then you are going to be able to.

    Aspire to be something else.

Ask BMA where they get their parts from, I bet they'll like that. Beat their prices and we'll talk.

based on the specific e30 market, you'll be hard pressed to

          a. sell for anything lower than the other places (BMW, Ea4parts, etc)
          b. sell enough to be profitable

            yeah that is true.
I am trying to get ahold of the BBS plant in Atlanta.
            I have contacted BMA also.

Talk to alpha wheels and ask about getting them to build their M5S wheel's again in an e30 fitment. You might also want to talk to some of the european wheel replica shops and see if you can import some 4 lug versions of various replica wheels that would work well on an e30.

Short of something like that, you're not going to be able to be profitable selling worldpac stuff against other places like EAP & BMA.

The fact that you didn't know right off the bat that WorldPac is the main parts wholesaler out there doesn't bode well either.

I agree. Become a US importer for all those badass european wheels that everyone over here always wants.

why? so you can get 5000 emails wanting prices, 150 kids saying "yeah i'll take those!" and 2 actual paid orders?

Damn, the magical "group buy feeler" ratio in action.

a business license is like $25.. but it costs a fuck of a lot more than the cost of the license to operate a business. Hell, I'm still paying off debt from a business I had 3 years ago, and I didn't have any capital expenses to worry about. So unless you have some serious capital or are very experienced at running your own business, I'd start with something smaller, like selling girls scout cookies, or drugs.

Reminds me of the Treehouse CAB GB, when the hell did everyone on the board (especially the guys with otherwise stock cars) realize they needed hardcore CABs? Also trent's mirrors, the entire "GO ON AIM!" freakout. High-larious.

And I know that worldpac is the distributer for most of the oem parts. I was more wondering if they are also disributers for performance parts.
I will try and talk to some of the replica wheel people, do you know any links that would help me with this?
                            Thanks guys.

How many E30s do you see with BBS wheels?! Certainly not enough to justify selling them unless you're TireRack or some other large company.
