Thule load bars and gutter mounts. Rockymounts bike rack.

I found the setup in the junkyard for $13

I ditched the fairing because it kept vibrating like crazy over 40 mph.

You dont have to measure your roof, Yakima, and Thule have done all the research for you.

Recommended I believe is a 38" from yakima, a 42 would work though and would cover the entire roof.

Thule an 832XT(IIRC) is the correct fitment.

I think that fairing is a 42"or is it 44", I went with the 38" and cut down the bars so the rack doesn't stick out on the sides at all.

Yakima. It's secure and works great. Thule seem to be the "in" rack but this works fine and was local and cheap. :/

Thule with twin racks. No fairing yet. Gutter mount. Works great and is very secure, but it is hard to put on without marring my nice alpinweiss paint...

Yakima, and Thule both are great fitments for their RainGutter mounts, I have Thule mounts on my car. I find that they are a much cleaner look, and are easier to take on and off. Through Yakima though you can use their Q-Towers, which fit alot more vehicles if you ever need to put it onto something else, all you have to do is switch the Q-clips which are specific for most vehicles.

And I would think i got a bit of a say, This is the majority of my job, and I get all this stuff dirt cheap.
