if I had an e36 m3, the LTW forged wheels would definately be what I'd want, I love them. heavy ass 4lug reps are pretty gay though imho

they just look bad because the center section is so fat and they usually end up with skinny ass 215/40 tire stuck on them. the 4 lugs don't help, either.

The fact that my 15x7 basketweave sticks up on a 205 tire pisses me off, even though it's slight. I move a lot of boxes around and I hate the fact that it's not completely flat...guess I'm just more bothered by trivial things. :? A false floor is a pretty good idea to fix the problem, though.

strange, mine don't stick up. maybe cars that came with 15x7" wheels stock have deeper wheel wells (M3, ix, euro cars)?

Here's a pic of my car with them on:

Previously the car ran Italian made MiM 1900s 15" ET13 with 205/55 tyres. They weighed 18kg/corner with rubber. The 17" Msport running a 215/40 weighs 21kg/corner.

Congratulaions! You're the 10,000th person to make that joke, and to think that it somehow gets me pissed off.

But I'll humor you, I think this is probably what you wanted to get out of me:

"What do you know about it, you weren't even there, you don't know the conditions, it was an accident, you're a jerk, I'm so mad, that's so mean that you said that to me, I'm going to go cry with my parents, I'm all depressed, I'm going to cut up my arms and take pictures, this girl just dumped me..."

                        ...oh wait, that's Chris Isar.

Both cars won awards at the recent BMWCCQ Show and Shine...the E30 M3 got "People's Choice", the 325is got "Best Custom" (although I don't considered it overly "customised".

I think those wheels look good on late E30s.

As for fitament in the spare well it could happen. There is a thick pad in the bottom of the spare well that is as thick as the slab that is on the trunk floor on 6-bangers. If you removed the pad in the well and left the trunk floor pad in I dont see why you cant fit them in there (might push up on the carpet a bit).

You also bring up a good point about BBKs. Its one thing that has concerned me. I hope to find something cheap and narrow for slapping snow rubber on in 16".
                            Im now E30less.

i love the wheels. I like the way it looks on the E30, but there are nicer wheels for the e30.

maybe that's the difference, my car doesn't have that pad in the wheel well, and I'm assuming the M3 doesn't either.
