Thanks for all the help fellas. I clearly have no idea what's going on. I'm sorry for writing a misleading thread title I know how frowned upon that is.

Also thanks to the guy who told me I shouldn't have gone with cheap coils, because ground controls with the identical spring rates would perform exactly 0% differently and bottom out at the exact same time, but you're right about that 0% difference definitely should have asked some people who know what they're talking about first.

And finally, look at the friggen pictures KDWs stretch sexily. They're wider to begin with, so for a given section width they might have less stetch than another 225, but they look good to me, just how I want them.

Yea, 17x8.5 and 9.5 sawblades. I got custom spacers made, 35mm hubcentric to bmw on inside and chevy on outside. The new wheels are vette wheels too :)

Don't really have any decent pics showing the sawblades, the gloss black makes it hard to see them in pics.

just had a flashback to last summer when I was flirting with the idea of bagging the 6 series. Now that I have wheels that are worthy of such a stance, and nice bilsteins to control everything, it's definitely time to do some research. Only problem is I won't be able to fit my hockey bag in the trunk with the compressor back there. Oh well, price you gotta pay to drag frame.

you need to ditch the 16s, I had a 17X11s on my e24 and there was still room.

i still love the stretch tire arguments. cracks me up everytime.

thread save!!! from this last saturday... CARNAGE cause by stretched tires / an unprotected lip.

back on stock wheels for a few days until I can reload with a new wheel and tire. yup, I guess I don't learn.

oh yeah, and I was meant to be there with my E30, but a I broke a bolt holding the control arm at the last min so I had to take my daily.

what do you mean stretched tires/unprotected lip? Do you think the bead came off? Glad you and the car are okay, I told y'all stretched tires were dangerous, and I did promise pictoral evidence, thanks blue for providing it ;)

Hopefully everyone is happy, I am back on style 5's. It's cuz I'm lazy, and I decided I'm gonna get the vert s52 swapped and get that on the road, then take insurance off the 6'er, replace front fenders, redo coilovers with perch lower, and maybe respray whole car.

Cuz I miss getting flamed, I decided that some rubber in the 6'er front suspension would be nice, so I took it apart today and added spring pads, and got rid of the harsh IE camber plates and engineered these bad boys
