    This is what he says

    For those of you non-familiar with the IX trim, this is an all-wheel drive car, it is 1 of only 500 that BMW produced during the E30's legacy.

    I thought for sure there was more made or whats up with this?

        I think there were roughly 2,000-2,500 iX's that were imported into the USA between 1988-1991

        The seller is just BSing hoping that someone who doesn't know exactly what an iX is will buy it just for the sake of owning a "rare" car.

          with over 2 million e30's made I highly doubt that they made only 500 ix's. maybe 5k or even 50k but no way on the 500.
