ur only shot is on a rolling start, u have no idea how quick an impreza is dumping it revd at 4k , that'll take away most of advantage she has ...... then just hope shes a shitty driver. both car at redline she still has u by a mile.
..... and always take a loss as a learning experience:
know your roll and play your position alongside Scions, corollas, and all other non Forced Induced, Non vtec specimens
Maybe u can talk her out of it and challenge her to a Oil Leak Contest or a rear strut mount rattle palooza...... she doesnt have a shot in hell..... lol

one thing is losing a race and leaving ur ego and dignity on the track. Another thing is watching ur rear subframe coming to a stop, through ur rear view mirror.
I got my self into an argument with this girl about how the EVO and STi are great cars, but they aren't as fun as the e30. She retorted talking about the AWD systems to which I replied that at the limits AWD is hard to judge because it switched from oversteer to understeer so quickly. To make this short, we have a date set to go race. She has a stock WRX (non STi) and I have a stock 325i (with exhaust, but no HP gain obviously).
How bad am I going to loose?
lol.
A stock evo or sti is WAYYYY more fun than a stock 325i
Yeah.. rappeage will probably occur. Unless, it's on a windy course and you basically drive a perfect race from start to finish. Bad enough that you're still basically stock even though you're stripped down. Best idea now is r-comps and maybe a chip. Those are relatively easy to source and install. Good luck.. you will need it. Oh and don't r3v the car, cause there will be many clamoring for parts.
