Do that ^ or, you can go with the dbilas manifold, like 600 bucks alone though, then buy either DCOE carbs and plug the injector holes in the manifold, or Jenvey DCOE flange throttle bodies. I'll be doing the latter, and making my own CF or FG airbox by using the lost foam method. This is for my m20 02 though by the way. I'll probably continue the engine build in octoberish. Check out the thread if you havent already :P

Are you building a race vert or is this for wow factor?

If for the latter just do a motor swap.

It's a pretty sweet setup for sure.

However, if you weren't going to do a full built-to-the-hilt M20 stroker build, ie, 3.0L or greater, big cam, headwork, GOOD header and exhaust, etc..........I don't see ITB's being worth the effort.

For the cost of ITB's, getting them tuned, etc (not even counting if you decide to go with a custom plenum), you are getting into S50 swap range territory. And you still don't have a built M20.

Exactly what are you looking to get out of the ITB system? Maybe that will help explain to everybody your motives because I'm building an ITB setup but I'm also doing a complete stroker build in which case it makes sense but just on an m20 with nothing else?

good question. i just love the sound. in terms of the performance of the car i'm very innocent about what an ITB can do. I have friend back in the Philippines that has an ITB on a '83 Corolla and i love the sound of it. i was reading something couple of days ago, is it true that the ITB is also good for MPG?

It is not worth it ,, except you do some more,, modification,, ((IMO))

cylinder head reworked,, new performance cam,, headers,, fuel system
(( incl, more pressure , and bigger injectors,, )) and YOU MUST get the ecu remapped ))

it is a costly tune ,, but you get a lot,,

but S50 EURO engine if you want the biggest gain from a 3.0L engine ,, easy install and LOT of POWER
