    Integrating IS lip?

I was wondering has anyone ever integrated the IS lip onto the front valence of the plastic bumper, painting it and blending it into one piece instead of 2?

After hearing horror stories of the lip getting ripped off, I was thinking about reinforcing it onto the valence with some screws, get ride of the gap, making it into one whole unit.

Never heard of anyone doing it but sounds like a good idea to me. pm me if you need a valance, I've got one with brackets.
    Jah bless! :pimp:

I have a couple of buddies who have drilled extra holes in their valance and IS lips for re-enforcement with zip ties but I'm sure self tapping screws would work just as well. I. Only have the plastic clips on mine and have not had any ripping off issues., maybe a broken clip from my dumb ass curving the lip but that just takes some getting use to.

If you mold the lip into the valence, first its going to be expensive, and second if you do hit it on a curb or anything, its going to do more damage to the valence which will be even more more money to replace than just a lip.

Na, It shouldnt cost you much. But if you rub the original crease will definitly be your weak spot.

I've only gone through one iS lip so far. Hit a tire tread on the freeway and ripped it clean off, and then I ran over it. Surprisingly it was relatively undamaged, but it did rip off a corner of it.

Only had my new one on now for ~4 months. Haven't hit anything with it yet...:crosses fingers:
