First thing I thought of was ATE Powerslot. I was just playing with one of mine today for my rear disc conversion on my 2002, i noticed the cut out of the outer diameter first though actually before the box and slot. Easy this time.Comment

So that little notch is to balance them I guess, not the slotting, the NOTCH in the rotor.
