do you mean the steering rack tabs? Do you think those tabs are strong enough to endure that kind of stress? I easily bent them a little bit when i swapped my rack for a E30 M3 one a few weeks ago.

When i installed the OEM x-race on my old E36 M3, it used the frame as a mounting point with little nutserts.

They are tow peices you can get the plate and add the brace or together.

I can FEA. I had thought about connecting the bars and still might. But I must say after a 6 hr run today I love what it did for the car. No shake, It felt planted at all times, even at 100+.
