so the springs are the same "spring" rate for both models... sorry if I was unclear, but the 325es is going into the 318is... going to miss my dbs' though

the engines are pretty much worthless now a days, all the e21 swaps have been completed (or something) On the FS forum they have been offered at 200 dollars... if you live in an e30 friendly environment, and you have awesome friends that can help, keep the M42. Do the tensioner, oil change and the rubber throttle body hoses and ride it out. Ive seen to many m42's bite the dust at the hands of an un aware owner, but mine is still strong and has over 180k on it. Un fortunately all my friends have 24v cars, so I gotta go that route to keep up.
                        best regards, Tree

yeah, I'm a m20b27 owner, with plans of the hybrid b25 head swap.. I'm going to weld some stands that will bolt to the engine mounts on the block.. and make a nice lexan table top to put on the block,... it will be nice, i'll post pics.. as far as I hear its' a 134hp block.. whilst i have 170pds of torque, so i think I'm going to put the m20 into it, and see how she takes it, seam welding the frame, etc.. anybody with some feedback on that engine feel free to post some more info. i got a buddy whom has a e21, he might be interested i guess in the motor if its' a nice step up in tech. for him, i know he has a m10 right now... I see the car this weekend, i'll try to get some pics..
